Sometimes it’s better to rebuild from scratch than to try and drag the past up to current standards.
That’s where we are with this website… in more ways than one.
Let’s back up a second and let me explain what happened:
Our hosting provider’s state-of-the-art data center completely flooded in biblical fashion a little while back.
That caused a chain of misfortune which started out like any typical data center hiccup but quickly snowballed into a days-long > weeks-long > months-long “catastrophic data loss and service interruption” for many, many, MANY customers, ourselves included.
I’d rather not bore you with technical details you’d rather not hear, so let’s keep moving.
The whole event as it happened and unfolded left us with a handful of equally not-great choices.
For a complex web of reasons, restoring all of the servers and sites involved requires far more time and effort than to just build you a brand new, modern and 2025-relevant site instead.
So, THAT is what we’re a’doing for you, right this minute.
Thanks for coming. Sorry we’re under construction.
